A tribute to Dawn Sears...

Dawn Sears

So many people do not know this name, but those who do are mourning the loss of a beautiful voice and a beautiful person.

I first heard her sing at the Ryman auditorium. From the first note that soared from her and bounced off the walls of that awesome old church, I had chills. I still remember that moment. Her voice touched me like no other. I never had the chance to meet her. I only got to hear her sing a few times, but those are a few memories I will forever hold dear. I thank God that I was lucky enough to be in the same building with her.

Prayers go out to all her fans, friends and family. There is some beautiful music in Heaven right now.

My favorite Songwriter Joel Shewmake

Quote of the year...

“Be not the judges of men, but love your brothers and sisters, and find ways to reach out to them in common goals and aspirations. Where there is love in common, the divisions of creed will melt away and reveal the true nature of man’s eternal destiny -- one of unity in purpose, to be perfect as the Father is perfect."
