A fun night at The Commodore...

Well the evening at The Commodore went very well.

Debi Champion put together another great evening of entertainment. I tried out a few new songs I had recently written. Overall I was pleased with my performance, but really enjoyed meeting Greg Sawyer and Lizzy McAvoy. They both performed performed in my round and made it very enjoyable to be on stage with them.

Lizzy McAvoy is a wonderful young, talented singer/songwriter. I was impressed with her guitar playing and vocals. It is so cool to see such young talent here in town pursuing their dream. Go listen to her music by clicking on her name.

Greg Sawyer is my kind of songwriter. His lyrics were memorable, clever and well thought out. His guitar playing just makes it that much better. He even played on one of my songs. Look this guy up if you want to hear some good music.

Thanks to Debi Champion for inviting me to participate. I hope to be playing again very soon.

Until then, keep writing and keep the faith,

Phil

Quote of the year...

“Be not the judges of men, but love your brothers and sisters, and find ways to reach out to them in common goals and aspirations. Where there is love in common, the divisions of creed will melt away and reveal the true nature of man’s eternal destiny -- one of unity in purpose, to be perfect as the Father is perfect."
