"Don't die with your music still in you." Wayne Dyer

Happy November 8th!! My wonderful Daughter emailed me this morning to remind me I was a Songwriter. I needed that because I had kind of forgot here lately. Yeah it's been busy and all, but that was just an excuse not to think about it for a while. So to break out of a slump, you have to go back to something that works for you...Wayne Dyer.

"Don't die with your music still in you. Find your passion. Your passion is what stirs your soul and makes you feel like you're totally in harmony with why you showed up here in the first place." - Dr. Wayne Dyer

It makes me want to pick my guitar up, stop worrying about politics or the weather and write what is in my soul. It's that simple to me.

Thank you to my Daugher Cagney for reminding me what I was here to do. :) I love you!

Peace and joy,

Phil

My favorite Songwriter Joel Shewmake

Quote of the year...

“Be not the judges of men, but love your brothers and sisters, and find ways to reach out to them in common goals and aspirations. Where there is love in common, the divisions of creed will melt away and reveal the true nature of man’s eternal destiny -- one of unity in purpose, to be perfect as the Father is perfect."
