My 1st visit to The Bluebird Cafe was memorable!

After living in Nashville for 9 years, I finally visited the legendary Bluebird Cafe. My main reason for going was to catch my favorite songwriter, Joel Shewmake, and my friend David Bradley along with Shannon Cain and friends.

What a great show it was! Shannon Cain is always amazing as is David Bradley. David ended his portion of the night with a very moving song called "Get a hero home". I suggest you click on his link and listen to his music.

Joel was amazing as ever. I finally got to hear him sing, "Toothbrush", which has been recorded by Brad Paisley. He ended the night with a new song...I think it is called "Tough people do".

So a great night at a great venue. I feel like an idiot that it has taken me thing long to visit the Bluebird. Now I need to play there.

Peace and love,

Phil

P.S. Support your local songwriters and my friends by visiting their sites and buying their music. They are just hard-working people doing what they love.

My favorite Songwriter Joel Shewmake

Quote of the year...

“Be not the judges of men, but love your brothers and sisters, and find ways to reach out to them in common goals and aspirations. Where there is love in common, the divisions of creed will melt away and reveal the true nature of man’s eternal destiny -- one of unity in purpose, to be perfect as the Father is perfect."
